If you know me well, you know I'm a neutrals girl through and through, but for some reason, this Summer, I've been drawn more and more to various shades of red. I think red just pops all the more against a clean, neutral palette.

I love this darling J. Crew Factory halter top. It's the perfect lightweight material for warm weather, but pairs very nicely with a tough moto jacket, which makes it an ideal transitional piece. I also love the juxtaposition of the more feminine cut and print of the top with the edginess of the faux leather jacket. It's basically the only way I wear "girly clothes."

Am I the only one out there who's already ready for Fall? I know it's tough to complain about the weather, living in San Diego, but I'm just not a lover of the heat. Plus, with fashion running a season ahead of time, I'm eager to start styling some cooler-weather pieces.

Hope you're all keeping cool and hydrated on this late July day and as always, thanks so much for stopping by.
